Totally Abu Dhabi launches in English, with a structure already in place to expand into 15 further languages as the site grows.
Publishing accurate, useful pages in one language first — rather than thin machine-translated versions in sixteen at once — lets us build a solid, well-checked foundation before expanding. Every page added from here is built with future translation in mind: clear structure, stable URLs, and content organised so it translates cleanly.
The first Arabic pages are live at /ar/, prioritising the Plan and Do departments as promised below: a homepage, the Plan hub with three guides (first-time visitors, best time to visit, visa & entry), the Do hub with a Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque guide, a Stay overview, and an About page. Each Arabic page links back to its English equivalent, and vice versa, so switching languages mid-read is a single click either way.
The roadmap covers Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Russian, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Urdu, Filipino, Indonesian, Japanese and Korean, reflecting the largest visitor and search markets for Abu Dhabi travel content.
As departments reach a solid depth of English content, we translate core pages department by department — Plan and Do came first since they answer the questions most travellers search for first. Stay, Places and the rest of Arabic coverage follow next, before expanding into the remaining languages.
