Yas Island packs an unusual amount into one place: Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and its record-setting roller coaster, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi's indoor theme park, Yas Waterworld, the newer SeaWorld Abu Dhabi marine park, the Yas Marina Circuit that hosts the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, Yas Mall, Yas Links golf course, and Yas Beach on the island's northern shore.
Most visitors underestimate Yas Island and plan a single afternoon, then discover each park realistically needs the better part of a day on its own. If theme parks are a priority for your trip, budget two full days minimum to cover two parks properly rather than rushing through several.
Yas Island sits about 20 minutes from Zayed International Airport and 30–40 minutes from downtown Abu Dhabi by car. Once there, the island itself is walkable between most major attractions, with shuttle links for hotels a little further out.
